Stephanie has been told by colleagues that her HR “superpower” is her ability to remain calm under pressure. She takes the time to listen, analyze, ask questions, and then apply her expertise and skills to devise business solutions. She developed these skills during her undergraduate education in psychology, with an authentic desire to help others. She has harnessed her superpower to implement work solutions, initiate change, and develop value-added programs for large retail corporations, a Major League Baseball team, a leading health care system, and a family-owned auto dealership group. The common theme in her work is her ability to identify the issues, treat individuals with respect, and create solutions to move the business forward.

Expertise

Stephanie possesses a variety of HR experience, from full-cycle recruitment to talent management and succession planning. She has managed affirmative action plans, governmental reporting, federal and state leave administration, and benefits administration for various companies. Stephanie enjoys using HR technology to build HR dashboards and reporting to “tell the people story” of a company and develop business solutions based on data trends. She enjoys working directly with the workforce on employee relations issues, orientation and onboarding, and employee engagement projects.

Key Accomplishments

  • Consulted with leadership teams from two merging companies to develop a master employee handbook to address consistent policies and procedures for a large national workforce
  • Partnered with a talent team and the C-suite to understand their ATS/recruitment needs to research, select, and roll out a new best-in-class talent platform
  • Consulted with remote leaders to research, select, and roll out an electronic performance management system, including the development of SOPs and best practices
  • Selected as one of 12 high-potential employees selected by the C-suite to participate in a corporate Leadership Advisory Council, a cross-functional team of leaders tasked with brainstorming unique solutions to key business challenges
