Katy is a highly motivated, dynamic and relationship focused operations leader with proven skills as a results-driven and collaborative team member. She brings her passion for customer and member engagement through visibility, and being an energetic leader connected to the business community. In addition to her CTO role, Katy will be focused on supporting MRA growth initiatives in the Minnesota region through her networking and member connections.

Experienced Business IT executive with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services and most recently, in the HR services industry. Extensive experience and success with managing and driving an enterprise, multi-year, digital transformation and implementation of digital product capabilities, in addition to, driving desired outcomes through change management. Drove double digit increases in digital usage based on digital experience, communication, influence and positive customer and client experience. Passionate about the customer experience, user experience and driving business strategies through technology.

10+ years of experience in driving and evolving products, technology tools & capabilities within a larger, strategy and roadmap to create efficiencies, adoption, and transformation. Expert in managing multiple and conflicting projects with superior ability to prioritize and execute high volume of tasks and information under aggressive timelines.

Education

Katy earned a degree in Communications with a minor in Spanish from the University of Minnesota - Duluth.

Professional and Community Activities

Katy is currently a mentor with TechnovationMN, who inspires and empowers girls to build and leverage technology to make an impact on their communities. TechnovationMN is a non-profit that brings technology and entrepreneurial programs to girls to spark interest, build technical knowledge and develop confidence.
