As a driver of a company vehicle or a driver of your personal vehicle for work related business, you have been given certain privileges. Our vehicle program has been implemented to promote safe driving on and off the job. When properly implemented, this program can help reduce the frequency and severity of crashes and violations in vehicle operations. In addition, we must present a strong public image of the company that puts safe drivers on the road.
Company vehicles and employees allowed to use their personal vehicle(s) to perform specific company business are used to support business activities and are to be used only by qualified and authorized employees. Vehicles used for business are to be operated in strict compliance with motor vehicle laws of the jurisdiction in which they are driven and with the utmost regard for their care and cost efficient use. The Health and Safety Manager is appointed our Fleet Coordinator with responsibility for managing vehicle and driver safety issues. He has authority to implement our vehicle safety program and is accountable to the Vice President for its effectiveness.
