From a young age, Bryn knew she wanted to help others, she just wasn’t sure exactly how. When she came across an HR class in college, she knew she had found her calling. Being fortunate enough to work for large international companies down to the startup world, she loves being in the position to create a better place for everyone to thrive.

Expertise

Bryn has spent the majority of her HR career in the manufacturing space wearing a variety of hats for the HR department, from recruiting efforts to managing the daily tasks of the HR cycle. Her favorite activities consist of benefits management, payroll, and any and all aspects of compliance. Having a lot of startup experience, she joins MRA excited to continue her diverse HR experiences with members to help them successfully manage whatever HR projects get thrown their way!

Key Accomplishments

  • Developed an entire HR department from the ground up that included streamlining the onboarding and training process, digitalizing payroll, created yearly training programs, implemented attendance policy, and staffed a secondshift workforce
  • Managed COVID crises at all aspects from laying off the entire workforce to bringing everyone back to work in 6 weeks in compliance with CDC and company guidelines with a return rate of 98 percent
  • Designed benefit package for a client that resulted in cost savings of 54 percent of yearly company premiums

Education

Bryn has an MBA specializing in HR Management from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, minoring in business, from The Ohio State University. She also obtained her Certified Professional from Society of Human Resources in 2018.

Professional and Community Activities

For over 20 years, Bryn has volunteered for the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event (formally the Rolex Kentucky Three- Day Event) assisting with the cross-country course in their communication team. This is the only 5-star equestrian event and Olympic qualifier held in the Western Hemisphere.
