Overcomer would be the one-word describer for Teresa. She is a bridge-building, human resource engineer, designing and creating support for the companies, she is an enthusiastic and dedicated professional who will help your organization connect the dots to improve, complete, and propel your initiatives forward.

Expertise

Teresa’s life journey has taken her through many unique and terrific situations, serving to further develop her overcomer skill set. She knows how to dive in and figure things out and get the job done, whether it is tutoring calculus, developing a startup business from a piece of paper to opening day, learning to play four instruments, leading and organizing events with attendance of over 5,000 people, mentoring hiring managers, facilitating conflict resolution, implementing policy and organization for companies, teaching nonverbal little autistic children to speak, write and communicate—she is a doer. Her expertise is working a project from start to finish, overcoming obstacles and challenges, developing relationships, and mentoring and assisting those involved to accomplish the established goal.

Key Accomplishments

  • Certified Performance-based Hiring with the Adler Group, Colorado Springs, CO
  • Contracted to consult on matters of business development, recruitment and hiring, best practices for employee and contracted staff, mentoring and advising in human relations
  • Engaged to craft a bid for the Federal Veterans Administration Health Care Scheduling Initiative working with people in four countries
  • Completed over 3,000 clinical hours in behavioral, social, academic, language, relational, and physical skills of young autistic children
  • Deep dive training for building relationships at any level, anywhere

Education

Teresa holds a Bachelor of science degree in business administration and personnel from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville.

Professional and Community Activities

Emcee for performances at Milwaukee Irish Fest—Schauer Center for the Arts, Hartford Area Business Networking Alliance (HABNA), Milwaukee Mandolin Orchestra manager and musician, Greenfyre band manager, performer and musician, volunteered in many efforts for over 17 years for the dance school while her children competed in Irish step dancing.
