I have a varied professional background that I draw upon in all my work. I practiced employment law litigation (defense) where I saw firsthand the importance of creating and maintaining a compliant workplace. I taught business law and employment law as a tenured professor and learned the importance of communicating complex concepts in ways that can be easily understood. Finally, I have worked with owners and the C-suite professionals to build HR departments from the ground up and, in companies with existing departments, to strengthen existing policies.
