She believes that in order to be an effective business partner, you have to understand what drives not just the business, but also employees at all levels of the organization.

Throughout more than 15 years of HR experience, Sam’s background includes employee relations, HR systems implementation, talent management, policy development, employee communications, and payroll and benefits administration.

- Partnered with business leaders to align workforce with business strategy through cross-training initiatives, reorganization, and reduction in force.
- Streamlined and developed payroll processes and associated documentation for multiple member companies.
- Implemented core HR, timekeeping, performance management, and onboarding modules in various HR systems for a variety of organizations.
- Participated in and lead a variety of continuous improvement initiatives, from equity compensation administration and onboarding to harmonizing core human resources processes for a global organization
Education
Sam earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with minors in human resources and Spanish. She earned and maintains a professional certification from the HR Certification Institute.
