Sue joined MRA in 2018 as a member relations manager for the greater Madison region. Her ability to understand members’ goals and obstacles has enabled her to foster partnerships with key executives to improve business results. She brings value to members, beyond the fulfillment of their immediate needs, by uncovering opportunities to boost operational efficiency and by connecting leaders with the MRA subject-matter experts who can help move their organization toward desired outcomes.
Key Accomplishments
- Planned, launched, and managed accounts receivable division for a national telecommunications company’s Midwest division, receiving national recognition for process improvement strategies streamlining processes impacting customer satisfaction.
- Proposed, created, and launched initial leadership development and sales management training for a $5.1 billion, 74 location state savings bank.
- Served as a project manager, opening 30 stores nationally in 2 years for an international franchise based out of Germany.
- Led a global corporate communications project and provided organization development consulting for the largest manufacturer of gas engines.
Education
Sue earned a bachelor of science degree in business management from Cardinal Stritch University, a minor in education from the University of Wisconsin, and a primary Montessori certificate from the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).
Professional and Community Activities
Sue serves a program committee member for the Greater Madison Area SHRM Chapter and as committee member for the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce and the Middleton Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as a member of the economic development, government affairs, and inclusion & diversity committees for Downtown Madison Inc.
