Teaming Up Against Burnout
Burnout has become one of the most talked about workplace topics, and its impact is far-reaching. The 24/7 pace of work, figuring out hybrid work models, economic uncertainty, constant demands, and too few resources can easily put HR professionals on a path to burnout, a cycle that only accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic. Burnout affects the health and well-being of the entire organization, yet most attempts to help focus on quick-fix strategies aimed at individuals. Something is missing. In this program, Paula will focus on a holistic approach to burnout prevention, providing actionable strategies for individuals, leaders, and teams.
Crafting Better Early Career Experiences
Young employees have been left behind in the post-pandemic workforce transition. According to the Achiever’s Workforce Institute, only 13% of junior-level employees consider themselves mentally well, and only 16% consider themselves to be engaged at their job. In a world where employee retention is key, this is an uphill battle to keep our best and brightest. But don’t despair, there is hope!! In this dynamic, authentic, and thought-provoking presentation, attendees will be exposed to a new perspective on how to craft better, more meaningful early career experiences within their organizations.
Embracing Technology
Technology is changing the way that organizations are innovating and evolving. Understanding how to embrace technology and manage change within human resources allows you to stay focused on your greatest asset…your people. This session will explore how organizations today are using automation technologies and approaches to allow the technologies to do what they are best at, processing documents and data, and allow human resource professionals to think strategically and connect meaningfully. During this session, you’ll get an opportunity to hear how these concepts can be used across the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee experience, compliance, and much more.
Elevating Employees: Happy Employees Just Don’t Leave Their Companies
It is no secret that Generation Zs and Millennials are a growing percentage of the workforce and are comfortable “job hopping,” which costs employers millions in recruiting, hiring, job training, and legal bills associated with former employees. The easiest way to beat the trend is to organize the company’s success around employee happiness. After all, happy employees just don’t leave (or sue) their employers! In this presentation, we’ll focus on the prioritization of Environment, Social, and Governance (“ESG”) in the younger generations, and the desire to have an employer who is environmentally cognizant, socially progressive, and governance compliant. Join us to learn how employers of all sizes can put these priorities into practice to attract, retain, and elevate employees and create the best economic margins for the attendee’s company in the pursuit of employee elevation.
Elevating the Employee Experience: Moments that Matter
Join Shawn Gulyas in an interactive keynote focused not on leadership grand gestures, but rather the small moments in organizational culture that have long-lasting impact on employee engagement and retention. How can Human Resources and leadership teams from across an organization build sustainable practices and habits that lead to cultural belonging and a renewed sense of mattering for every individual? Shawn will share tools and tactics that will jumpstart your efforts and provide direction for any business that truly cares about elevating the employee experience.
