Keisha N. Douglas is an associate attorney with the law firm of Califf & Harper, P.C. in Moline, Illinois. Ms. Douglas has been with the firm for three (3) years. She received her B.A. and M.A. from the University of South Florida, and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Iowa in 2016. Ms. Douglas was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2016 and the Iowa bar in 2017. Ms. Douglas is engaged in general civil practice and does a mix of transactional and litigation work.
Matt Pappas is a principal of Pappas O’Connor P.C. He is a recognized professional who is awarded the highest rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell for legal ability and ethics. He has a focus in management labor, employment matters and litigation. His clientele includes private and public sector clients including local and national corporations, colleges and school districts, hospitals, medical corporations and banks. He has experience in litigating complex employment disputes including class action in federal and state courts among many other things.
Allison K. Wright is a principal of Pappas O’Connor, P.C. Ms. Wright’s practice focuses on management labor and employment law and civil litigation with an emphasis on education law. Since joining the firm, Ms. Wright has managed various labor and employment issues, including defending clients from the administrative level through trial, defending clients in arbitrations, drafting and negotiating collective bargaining agreements and leading clients through union efforts and elections. Additionally, her practice focuses heavily on employment law, whereby she advises clients from the initial stages of trainings and drafting handbooks all the way through resolution of litigation. She has litigated employment disputes in federal and state courts, as well as successfully represented public and private employers in grievances and at arbitration. Ms. Wright has an extensive litigation practice and regularly defends employers at both the state and federal level.
Dennis R. Favaro is the managing partner of Favaro & Gorman, Ltd., an employment law firm. Mr. Favaro received a Bachelor of Arts from Illinois Wesleyan University, a Master of Arts from Wheaton College and his Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University School of Law. He is admitted to the Illinois Bar and the Federal Bar for the Northern District of Illinois (including the Trial Bar), the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Favaro is a faculty member of William Rainey Harper College and is a visiting adjunct lecturer at Wheaton College, where he teaches employment law courses. He is a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and The Litigation Counsel of America. He has certifications in trial advocacy from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, is a graduate of the Trial Lawyers College, is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and has been frequently recognized as a Super Lawyer, America’s Top 100 Attorneys and Leading American Attorney in employment law.
