In our last edition of Inside HR, we asked organizations if they provide an onsite clinic for employees that offers general medical services.
Around 17 percent of respondents indicated they do, however, the vast majority (over 80 percent) said they do not.
Although a recent Mercer survey shared that one-third of employers now offer worksite clinics, these employers fit into the category of large employers (5,000 or more employees).
It is evident that employers of all sizes and industries are continuously looking for ways to manage health care costs and improve employees’ health. Onsite clinics—which offer easy accessibility and quality health care at reduced costs—could be the next creative solution.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our poll!
